Church Corruption

And to think that Kossey's superiors Chancellor Miloro or Metropolitan Nicholas would countenance such deplorable conduct? What does this say about the culture of corruption in this Church, or other Churches. The hypocrisy of these Churches is what turns people away from the Church and God! The audacity to preach higher principles and feign a higher morality is nothing other than complete blasphemy, and an utter abdication of the principles of the Church. But we all know how infrequently the clergy ever reprimands their own, as they have grown all to comfortable with living in a culture of corruption-- using the Church to afford them luxury, credibility and privilege. I have spoken to the author of the letter in my blog, (a decent and moral man devoted to justice and fairness) who is insistent that Kossey be defrocked and his superiors retired. Such hypocrisy will be unveiled in this blog, as exampled over and over again in the whitewash routinely perpetrated by the clergy when confronted with corruption-- be it embezzlement, child molestation, and varied instantiations of unholiness incarnate. When the Church bureaucracy is apprised of an instance of molestation, instead of defrocking the priest and insisting on criminal prosecution, he is moved to another parish, or retired with a pension. Can't we expect a higher calibre of moral agent in our spiritual world than countenance these charlatans and false prophets? Let this blog initiate a dialogue amongst the faithful to purge our Churches from this element, as the Church needs to be altogether rehabilitated if it is to regain the credibility it has lost, and so badly needs.
